Final week plan

309A Final Week Study Plan

The final week is not the time to study everything equally. It is the time to find what is still costing marks, review it carefully, and use timed practice without burning yourself out.

Who This Helps

Good forLearners with about one week before the 309A exam
Good forApprentices who feel scattered and need a calm final review plan
Good forAnyone deciding when to use mock exams versus focused weak-area review
01

The mistake to avoid

The final-week mistake is trying to touch every topic every day. That feels responsible, but it can turn into shallow review and panic.

A better plan uses practice to decide what matters next. If the dashboard shows one area dragging you down, review that area before taking another long mixed run.

02

Use the free sample as the first signal

  • Answer 150 free practice questions without notes if you have not used the app yet.
  • Read the explanations before judging the score.
  • Open the dashboard preview and look for the first weak-area signal.
  • Upgrade only if you want the full bank, mock exams, timed tests, mistakes review, and weak-area practice for the week.
03

A practical final-week rhythm

Early in the week, run a baseline and repair the weakest area. In the middle of the week, add mixed timed practice. Near the end, review mistakes and avoid learning-brand-new material at full speed unless the dashboard clearly shows a gap.

The goal is not to feel perfect. The goal is to make the remaining study time specific.

04

What not to do

  • Do not take back-to-back mock exams without reviewing the first one.
  • Do not ignore lucky guesses just because the score looks okay.
  • Do not use practice questions as a replacement for current official or course sources.
  • Do not chase every weak area at once when one repeated pattern is costing more marks.

Practice Question Preview

These examples show the kind of reasoning you will practise in the app. Open the full app for scored practice, explanations, and progress tracking.

You miss several service and distribution questions in one practice run. What is the best next study move?

Best answer:Pause mixed practice and review that competency area before another full run.
The app is most useful when missed-question patterns turn into a focused review plan.

A practice question touches a rule-sensitive installation detail. What should you do after reading the explanation?

Best answer:Confirm it against the current rule or course source, then return to the app to practise the concept.
This keeps practice useful while respecting official licensing and code sources.

You got a question right but cannot explain why the wrong answers are wrong. How should you mark that topic?

Best answer:Treat it as a review item, not full mastery.
This is one of the fastest ways to turn practice scores into real exam readiness.
