This policy describes the current privacy posture for the iOS app and web app. The product can be used without an account. If you log in on the web, your practice progress can be saved to your account.

309A Practice Tests does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use third-party advertising tracking. If you log in on the web, your question progress can be saved to your account. If you choose to flag a question, contact support, or buy Premium web access, the details needed to handle that action may be sent to us for follow-up or account access.
The app and web version may store answered questions, bookmarks, exam history, local settings, and reset state on your device or browser. In-app question flags may also be saved locally so the question stays marked after you leave the screen.
Web login is provided so you can save practice progress across devices. When you log in, we may receive basic account details from the login provider, such as your email address and name, and store your practice answers for progress tracking.
If you tap the in-question flag/report button, we may receive the global question number, internal ID, prompt, correct answer, and screen context. If you choose to email support, we receive the email address you send from and the contents of your message.
The web app may record basic first-party product events, such as opening the app, viewing the dashboard, answering questions, clicking a Premium link, starting checkout, or claiming paid access. These events are used to understand product demand, improve the study experience, and troubleshoot account access.
Paid Premium web access is a one-time lifetime unlock processed by Stripe. We may receive payment status, customer ID, email address, purchase time, and product entitlement details needed to activate access. We do not store full card numbers. If you buy before logging in, the web app uses the Stripe checkout email to match the payment to the account you create or connect after checkout.
If you contact support about billing, refunds, account access, or a question issue, we use the details you provide to respond and resolve the request. Please include the checkout email or question ID when relevant, but do not send card numbers or other sensitive payment details.
309A Practice Tests is an independent practice tool and is not affiliated with Skilled Trades Ontario, Red Seal, the Electrical Safety Authority, or the Government of Ontario. Use official sources for current licensing, apprenticeship, exam, and code requirements.
If a later build adds crash reporting, iOS purchases, subscriptions, ads, or broader account features, this policy and App Store privacy answers must be updated before release.
